Musicians Wanted: Community Orchestra Needs Players - The Muse - 08-29-2009 The Waukegan Symphony Orchestra is a long-established community orchestra that welcomes interested players from Lake County, Chicago’s North Shore communities and SE Wisconsin. Weekly rehearsals are Monday nights from 7:30 to 10pm at Waukegan High School. String positions in all sections are available for the 2009-2010 concert season. Most wind positions are currently staffed, but we are seeking experienced trumpets and trombones. Join us for a 4-concert season that’s part of the Waukegan Park District’s fine arts programming through the Jack Benny Center for the Arts.
