Oh, but they work hard and don't hurt anyone - wths74 - 06-06-2009 I guess this isn't breaking news to Waukegan per se but it is to me. A friend of mine of 30 years was killed last week in River Grove. That is a small suburb just west of Chicago. Apparently the driver who hit him was spotted by the police. He had numerous warrants. They tried to pull him over and he took off. He went through a red light into a intersection and hit my friends car at 85 mph. Then he tried to flee on foot but the police nabbed him. He had a blood alcohol of twice the legal limit. My friend was killed instantly. Now this guy "Martinez" the police said was driving without a license and had "numerous" alias and birth dates. He was charged with reckless homicide. Of course there wasn't a scratch on him. Now, how long are we going to let this continue? Why does everyone, especially the politicians do nothing about illegal immigration? What is it going to take? They are literally ruining this country and nobody is doing anything about it. We just continue to let them in, do whatever they want and just crap all over us. I'm sorry, I am sick over this. Dammit - we have got to do something. Re: Oh, but they work hard and don't hurt anyone - fedupinwaukegan - 06-06-2009 I am truly sorry to read about your friend. I just read the comments after one of the articles from friends and family and he sounded like a truly wonderful person. Heartbreaking. Others may come out from hiding & protest the government to do their job, RIGHT! Then watch Americans back you in court. Who knows, maybe this will start a trend. |
