GREAT Frontline program on PBS/WTTW/Ch 11/ this evening (Tuesday, 4/21) regarding clean water. About 1 hour in they started talking about PCB cleanup. Very interesting. All concerned citizens should download the program. As all of us know this is a subject that is of great concern to everyone in Waukegan.
In a previous life, I was engaged to an enviromental chemist at the Metropolitian Water Reclaimation District, who specialized in SuperFund cleanup. Before moving here I gave him tap water samples and asked many questions. He said cleaning up our harbor was "very do-able". But, "must be done, sooner than later".
