Found Dog - NorthsideKaren - 09-19-2008
Just wondered if anyone knows who is missing a male, un-neutered black and white Shih Tzu. Found running in the road near McAree and Yorkhouse. Recently groomed. Has no tags and isn't micro-chipped.
Just thought I'd ask...

My dog (orange pomeranian) adopted me. But only after my one month attempt to find the rightful owner. I would never have kept her without trying to find the owner first. She has been a mostly great companion for over 10 years.

The Vet or Animal Control can run a handheld scanner over the back of the animal. If it has been chipped, the info stored on the chip can be printed out or read.

Exactly, Guest300! There was no chip. Furthermore, we've contacted both Waukegan and Lake County Animal Control, and about 12 area vets.

LOL, U want more dogs? Come on by Jackson & Messena area. Their's 1/2 doz. running round loose, no tags, no collars.
All are small & fuzzy, some clean, some (ummm) can't tell the color. But their freely running round, come & get em! :lol:
