These videos say more about our lousy public education system than anything else. But, it is always about the kids, according to the American Federation of Teachers. I think we have wasted too many generations of our children in the name of progressive education. I say fire them all and let them reapply for their jobs to weed out the stupid socialists. It's going to be a long, hot, summer.

Greatest part of just sent out Waukegan personal property taxes go to Waukegan Schools. What is the return on our very costly investment?
Some great students, a few fine teachers and several exceptional programs, but overall, it is really sickening to pay so much for the generally lousy results that Waukegan Schools give us. So much disrepect, disorder and danger are tolerated every day.

What would you say is the root cause of this? I just talked to a man who moved to Waukegan 3 years ago and recently removed his child from the High School because all of this was, in his words, "distracting" from his childs education.

Gang influences, Dan. This is a major cause of what is wrecking Waukegan Schools today. Our schools have mostly been taken over by gangs and the
school officials are mostly looking the other way as does much of this city, wanting to deny it is a really big problem.
These YouTube vids are not made up, they are bolstered by what I hear from decent parents with decent youth in our school system of all backgrounds here. Waukegan Schools have been dominated by street gangs and the culture all of that brings, and next will be our neighborhoods which is happening right now..what is all that gang graffiti you posted pics on here about if not gang culture dominance ?
City officials and police officials live in a dream world, too. Well yes, I agree that gang subculture is a factor but we have to ask what is the root cause of that. What is it in our societal environment that tends to create a gang subculture? There are people, scientists, who have studied this and understand the mechanisms in place. This subject matter is presented very well in the first 40 minutes of a movie by the title "Zeitgeist - Moving Forward".

Peter Joseph has also said over and over that a conspiracy does not exist. Parallel interests do exist. A parallel interest happens when two or more people have the same motives and goals. My car needs gas in order to operate so I go to a gas station to get gas. Your car needs gas to operate. You go to a gas station to get gas. The fact that we both end up at the gas station does not mean we conspired to get gas from a gas station although an observer might come to that conclusion.
