National Public Radio Fires Juan Williams - ClassicalLib17 - 10-21-2010 This should be a popular 'signature' progressive issue. Will any wauktalk members care to commit themselves to defending Vivian Schiller's decision to fire Mr. Williams? Have the Progressives finally shown enough teeth to scare off the average American voter? Me thinks so. The Summer Of Recovery Begins November 2nd, 2010 Re: National Public Radio Fires Juan Williams - Danno - 10-22-2010 If anyone thinks this country will be significantly better or even different after the November elections they have got a lot to learn. Yeah you might have new laws that prohibit abortion, less tax for the mega wealthy or prayer in schools or some other crap but there will be no significant change. The new politicians coming in will be just as corrupt as the old ones going out, maybe more so. Lagre corporations will still rule the day. The Federal Reserve will still control money. The very wealthy will still have all the power. People will still be enslaved. Corruption will still reign supreme. Capitalism will still be destined to fail. But the sheeple will think it's a whole new day because some guy on TV will say so. |
