I think we definitly need to change course on the school board...they are way too administrator heavy and not enough goes to the teachers and kids. The recent decisions that they have made are going to take them two steps backwards. The Park District is great! Some of the best parks around and they have genuine plans for the future. I too could not attend the debate because I chose to support the children of our community and their accomplishments. I will definitley not be voting early because my mind is not made up and it could change between now and April 7th. So now what makes you tick and why should I support the other guy? If you are campaining on this forum there are only about 3 Waukegan registered voters (with me being one of them) on this entire site I would maybe concentrate my efforts somewhere where people actullay voteI'm 99% sure Sabonjian voted against the county board pay raise in 2008.
It's obvious that you were at a pep rally instead of listening to the candidates speak at the debate because if you did attend the debate you would know, without a doubt, that Bob Sabonjian has an articulate, well thought out, reality based approach and plan to making Waukegan better that is, on EVERY point, far above ANYTHING Dick Hyde has EVER done or been. Bob Sabonjian is an intelligent person who well understands the ills that trouble Waukegan and thus the ability to formulate effective solutions. Bob Sabonjian has both integrity and honesty... two things that are completely foreign to The Dick.
You have yet to name one thing Hyde has not FAILED at in the last 4 years?

I can only name three things that Hyd has been succesful at.
They are:
lying and misleading the citizens
Nepotism
Blaming others for his failures
But I can name quite a few that he has failed at.

Baseball Stadium
Lake Front Cleanup
Fountain Square devlopment
Genessee Theatre
Downtown revitalization
Condos on Sheridan and Washington
Condos at the News Sun Building
Scoop'n Genessee
Karcher Hotel
Masonic Lodge
Navy Ship and Museum

New restaurant acrosss for the Genessee theatre

Danno you are one to talk about failure One failed junk shop and one failed bar to your record and you still live in Mommies house This city has had the Most change for the good in the past six years than the 20 before and if you are endorsing Sabonjian I would hope that people vote for someone elese. Your attempted put downs might have been minimally effective if they contained even one fact, which they did not. Pretty lame but that's what you get with the Good Old Boys.. lameness, failure, lack of accountability and lack of integrity.
My failures, even if you were accurate, which you are not, and even if they were relevant, which they are not, should be of no concern to you since, quite unlike you and The Dick, I did not expend ONE PENNY OF TAXPAYER MONEY in the process. In other words I am not, in any way, shape or form, ACCOUNTABLE to YOU for MY failures. However, YOU and The Dick are accountable to me and the rest of the taxpayers of Waukegan. Learn to treat the taxpayers with the respect they deserve.
Why don't you stop posting and reading internet forums on the taxpayers dime? Why can't you simply do the job the taxpayers pay you to do with a degree of professionalism that would lend dignity to your elected public office?

LITTER
Dolts like Hyde do not give any thought to the connection between litter and the decline of quality of life in a community. It's a completely foriegn concept to Hyde. He gets the same insipid look on his face as if someone were speaking Swahili to him. But in contrast, I heard Bob Sabonjian once lay out a complete understanding of the negative impact that litter can have on a community. Bob definately gets it.

And maybe you should consider reading admin's rules 2/1/09 before you post again.
I am happy to report that Sabonjian supporters have the intelligence to think for themselves. Who Danno votes for has no bearing on anyone. As far as I am aware, Danno is not an elected official nor is he running for office. Therefore, twisting the topic of the forum to take the heat off Hyde may work with some half-wits, but it doesn't wash with the majority, my dear Seadog.
