Greetings, All,
The final concert of the season for the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra is this coming Sunday, May 23 at 4:00 p.m. which will be held at the Trapp Auditorium-Waukegan High School, 2325 W. Brookside Ave. Admission is $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for senior citizens and military, college students with I.D. are $8.00 and students under age 18 are free of charge. Tickets will be available at the door, or in advance by contacting the Jack Benny Center for the Arts at 39 Jack Benny Drive-Bowen Park or by phone at 847-360-4740.
Selections by Bruch, Cherubini and Tchaikovsky will be featured....it's a very melodic performance. Don't be intimidated if you're not familiar with much classical music; you just need to show up and let yourself enjoy it!
Ticket sales are imperative to the future of this group; city funding and IL Council for the Arts funds have been slashed and corporate sponsorships are down. Please plan on attending and giving this group the support of your ticket purchase and presence in the audience.
