Go to 4:00 and you can hear Guzman say "Here's what we gotta do." He then goes on about the police harassment and code enforcement. He says if we fix these the people will start coming back to Waukegan. Did he say "Ladies and Germs"? He ends this with "Gimme six months I take care of the problem."

3:50 The city is trying to put the Spanish out. We are falling apart. The city is broke. 55 millions in debt. 100 millions in losses. If I win nobody gonna have their rights violated or go in their house with out permission [loud cheers]

I didn't see any more videos. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that WLC didn't realize the more outrageous and loud diabtribes by Mr. Guzman. They would leave you with your mouth open.
I watched all of the videos and I have definitely decided to vote in the priamary but to vote for Sabonjian in April.
Not one of them made a coherent statement or made any sense.
Hyde always talks about being a former coach ..that's great but that's not the job he's running for and it has nothing to do with the office of Mayor.
Cunningham has no plan or idea or issues or solutions or anything concrete.
Guzman is uninformed and delusional.
And what's the significane of having Mexican flags in front of them?

This is a montage of the Guzman campaign. Listen to the first minute of music -is it Japanese? It's a wee bit depressing. You can skim the tracking ball through the rest to see the pictures as there is no dialogue.

This is a translated version of what the poster put in his description.

Waukegan, Illinois, located between the cities of Milwaukee and Chicago, has recently become one of the most racist cities in the U.S., however the first time in the history of this city that a Candidate Latino seeks Alcadia thus allowing me the freedom to show you the real window to a Campaign Election Candidate This location is not very common in these media, as well give them the opportunity to all of you are witnesses of this great learning ...

CHRONICLE OF AN ELECTORAL CAMPAIGN 0001
Code enforcement is a big issue. Each of the candidates discussed it. Wish that video had been made available from WLC. Sounds like one candidate just wouldn't have code do it's job. Another candidate said they would do it with dignity. Whatever, it just has to be done. Here is a reminder. Also, remember the fire in a Waukegan 2 flat that had 15 people a couple of years ago?

Fire raises concerns about overcrowding

HIGHWOOD -- In the wake of a duplex fire that injured two and displaced 15 people, Highwood city officials are attempting to eliminate overcrowding.

The fire started about 2:15 p.m. Sunday in a two-story, multi-family home at 820 Green Bay Road, Highwood Fire Department Battalion Chief Dave Mohry said.

The fire appears to have started in the basement and spread to all three floors, Mohry said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Two children in the basement apartment were taken to Highland Park Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation, Mohry said. Their conditions were not disclosed.

The fire left the building uninhabitable and 10 people will be displaced, Mohry said.

"This could have been catastrophic," said Mayor Vincent Donofrio. "Thank God no one lost their life."

Upon arrival, police and fire personal found heavy smoke and flames coming from the unit. Mutual aid from 12 neighboring communities responded to assist with the fire.

Temporary shelter was provided through the efforts of Moraine Township, authorities said.

City Manager Greg Jackson said the fact that nearly a dozen people were living in one unit speaks to a growing problem.

"Eleven people living in one single unit of this size is of great concern to the city," Jackson said.

Donofrio said he has directed the city manager and the city prosecutor to review this case and begin the process of determining if criminal or civil charges could be filed.

"I feel for the tenants, I truly do, and we have an obligation to protect them," said Donofrio.

Highwood officials are urging residents to report suspected overcrowding to the city building department at (847) 432-1924.
