Oh, Danno, I need a kick and a giggle. I'm afraid of this Forum. Seems like I'm in this world alone.

Great pics Danno but I have a question about how you posted them.
Check out the 'just for laughs' thread. I posted a picture in a joke and I can see the pic when I am logged on but the link to the pic shows up (the [attach ) code)
Also when I am not logged on it says I don't have permission to view the attachment. I am assuming everyone cannot also?
I have had PCs since the early 90s and I have been in IT working on large mainframes for over 30 years but this html code makes me want to reach for the Jack Danials

northavedude Wrote:Great pics Danno but I have a question about how you posted them. Thanks NorthAve, you're good... I can see your pic on the "laughs" page. I also see it as an attached url. You must have posted the the pic url twice, right? Once using the Img tags and once using the an "attach" tag.

I just put the picture url in between the {img][/img} tags. Of course you must have your pictures uploaded on a server or image host first but you obviously knew that.
So to others who want to try putting picutres on here, just upload them to a picture host and then copy and paste the url in between the {img][/img} tags. (I've intentionally corrupted the tags by using the wrong bracket otherwise they would not show up)

I didn't use the (/img) code. I tried to use only that and all that happened was that the word IMAGE showed up.
I only used the (/attach) code. So you saw it. Strange. When I am not logged on this is what I see after
the text of the 'joke'...

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
(I also messed with the parens with the attach above )

Ok - I think I got it. In the first post where I tried the (/img) code and abandoned it I was taking people to the photobucket page that had the pic but the actual pic has it's own url that is on that page. Going to a page that I have to signon to won't work here. Here I am posting a pic using JUST the (img) code and not bothering with the attach code.
You got me thinking though so for that I appreciate it.
Here is a pic of a kitten who obviously is thinking he can be bigger than he first appears (hint, check out the reflection)

Northavedude, love the picture of the kitty/he has great expectations of himself!!
Danno, your flowers are just absolutely beautiful and your pond looks like a great place to sit, chill and read a good book.
