Keith Olbermann on Pastor Niemoller. His statement is one of my favorites and one of the most significant statements of the 20th century. I hear some people speak of rights and Constitution but they seem to have no concept of the true mechanisms which protect and preserve them. It is our duty to stand up and speak out in support of the rights to free expression, not of those we agree with but of those we disagree with most stongly, otherwise, eventually, we will ALL lose our rights.
A fantastic statement from Mr. Olbermann - "From the beginning of this nation we have fought religious intolerance and our greatest enemy... stupidity exploited by rapacious politicians". So true.
